So after they pass the sacrament at church Lucy starts the "num num num" and she needs a snack as the bread from the sacrament has only wet her pallet. I tried to feed her goldfish crackers, which normally she would totally devour, but oh no, she saw something she wanted more...The nilla wafers. She recognized the box of cookies and the fish were out the window (or rather on the floor). I tried to hide the cookies, as they were a "last resort" to keep her good for the last hour of church. But she knew they were there. So I gave her a couple to tide her over. Today I had left the diaper bag within her reach and after she got bored playing with toys she went to do some exploring around the basement. She went from playing with the straps of her carseat, to the forbidden outlets (which have now been covered) to the stairs that now have the gate put up...what was she to do? Then all of the sudden out of the corner of her eye something yellow caught her attention. She went to investigate and much to her enjoyment she found the beautiful yellow box of mini nilla wafers...Mmmm..I caught her red handed, breaking into the box of cookies. But it was just too cute. I didn't reprimand, I took pictures. How is that for encouraging the sneaking of cookies? :)

Cute! I remember catching Daphne with her hands stuffed in a box of Cheez-its when she was a year old. But hopefully Lucy didn't dump out the box, crumbs and all like Daphne did.
That's cute! With Jenna, I figure if she finds it, she gets it! Maybe that's not so good...
