Hey Everyone!
We have had multiple requests to get on the stick and put some pictures up! Life has been very interesting these past few weeks. Over the holiday season we did some serious traveling. We went to Seattle, Arizona, California Utah and Missouri. We went to visit my sister's in Seattle for Christmas. And on the plane ride over I managed to lose not only my driver's license but Jon's as well! They ended up mailing Jon's back to him. But mine is M.I.A. So...I get to take the driving test ALL over again. The first time was tramatic enough. The second time was ok (yes it took me two times...I turned right on the street where the sign said "no right turn on red"...pesky details) The third time could be actually be enjoyable! (right?)
After Seattle we flew unexpectedly to Arizona to attend a family funeral. We then drove to California to visit with Jon's Dad, Grandparents and Aunt's family for a few days. We played mini golf, ate lots of good food! and visited the Living Desert. Then we drove back to Utah where we visited with family. We were supposed to fly out on Thursday Jan 7th but when we saw that all the flights going into Chicago were being cancelled we called the airline and waited 45 minutes on hold to change our flight....Oh but our flight was not cancelled and even ended up taking off with no delays. So we ended up stayed for a couple of more days!
Then we got home...but that's not all! We got home Sunday evening and then that Friday we drove to St. Louis to visit with my sister Jen's family. Her daughter was baptized this last Saturday. It was a good time. And Lucy slept THE WHOLE WAY HOME!!! Oh we made good time getting back. It was wonderful!
So that's the update. Life is good.
But most importantly and last but not least but should have probably been mentioned first...We are expecting baby number 2! Yeah! Lucy is very excited and we are too!
I want to add pictures but the computer is being silly SO those will be to come!

Oh my goodness! That is so exciting! congratulations you guys!
Well congratulations! When are you due? How far apart will your kiddos be? My advice: Two kids is so much harder than one!
Losing your license on the plane... Our only plane casualty was a red Osh Kosh hat. We had to retake the written driving exam when we moved here to Chicago. We both got 100%, but we didn't have to do the driving test. I'm sure you'll do great! Good luck!
Well congrats, that's exciting for you!
Congrats! When are you due? Thanks for the Christmas card!
WOW Congrats on Baby #2!!! That is such exciting news. When is the due date???
You guys were all over the place for Christmas....your world travelers!!! WEll American travelers!
The due date is on July 28th. Our kids will be just about 17 months apart.
PS Steph passed the drivers test without a problem... for those of you who were wondering. Good job Steph. Although they wouldn't let us use our car. There was tinting on the front windows. We had never even noticed the tinting before because it is soooo light but they made us borrow my moms car.
No worries. My first two were 13.5 months apart. When number 3 came 18 months after that...it felt like a breeze! The first few months are hard, but now it's SO fun to have them close!
