So anyone who knows our Lucy knows that while she may love her mommy and daddy there is definitely a special place in her heart for her Grandma Vickie. Grandma left yesterday to go to Utah for a week and I think Lucy is starting to really miss her best friend. This morning we looked at pictures hanging on the fridge. Lucy found an engagement picture of Vickie and Mark and kept pointing to it. Throughout the day I kept finding that picture around the house in places that she had been. Tonight, I was cleaning the kitchen and I looked to see where Lucy went. She was sitting on the stairs, drinking her juice and holding her picture of Grandma with a sort of heartbreaking confused-sad face. Like she was saying "where is my Grandma? I haven't seen her for awhile."
