As I was sitting in church yesterday I had a thought come to me. This is a time of great importance in our nations history with the upcoming 2008 Presidential Election. And thus, my mind has turned to the great importance of having eyes to see and even more importantly ears to hear the truth.
I thought about the Plan of Salvation. When our Heavenly Father presented us with this great plan of happiness to come to earth and obtain a body and through our agency make choices so that we could someday return to Him. When he was done presenting the plan Satan proceeded to voice his opinions of how this plan should go and led away many of our Heavenly Father's children. Satan must have been very cunning and smooth in his speech. He made all sorts of false, empty promises and those who could not (or would not) see the truth, that he was stripping us of our agency, were led astray.
My point in likening this to the upcoming election is to say. Look past the surface of the seductive speeches and truly listen to what is being said. Break down what the candidates are saying. Thoroughly research what the issues are and know where you stand so that when the time comes to choose, you know who you will support and follow. And you will know the consquences of your vote.

Hi, Wow your pregnant. That is so exciting. Kids are so much fun, they change your life so much. Well we are in new mexico for now. Jasons work transfered him down here. I stay home and love being a mom. What are you doing? It looks like you guys are very busy.
