Hey Guys, I know it's been awhile and those who have checked my facebook, you'll see simliar pictures but for those faithful blog followers here are some updated pictures from over Christmas. We had such a great time traveling (mostly non-direct flights) with our two little girls. They were surprisingly wonderful to travel with. They did get a bit crabby at the end of our 16 day journey around the country, but in their defense they both had caught a little cold and were not feeling well either. So all in all we are training our girls to be successful world travelers. We left on Dec. 15th to go to Seattle to visit my sister and then headed to California where Jon's family was having a reunion! It was fun to meet all his cousins and see his dad and grandparents again. Jon's grandparents were so wonderful to set us up at a nice hotel and we were able to use the amenitites in their community. We played bocce ball, mini golf, and had delicious dinners. We also met our future brother in law Matt. He and Melanie are getting married in February...in Hawaii! (Which we will be not only going to, but taking our little girls with us too! Woo...we're crazy!) One of the best parts was when we discovered that we were staying only minutes away from the Marriott Resort and Spa hotel where Zack Morris and the whole Saved by the Bell gang filmed a 2 part series. We took the complimentary ride on the gondola around the hotel grounds and everything. It was SO fun! After we left the reunion we went to Downtown Disney with the girls and then headed to Orange County to stay with my Aunt Lisa's family for the night. Downtown Disney was SO fun for Lucy! She just loved seeing Mickey's face everywhere and we strolled and took pictures and she danced to the music that played through the grounds. Jon and I looked into eating dinner with the characters which (apparently) you need to make reservations for. So that didn't happen, but perhaps we'll be able to do that someday.
