Everything Javid

I am two weeks away from delivery! And all is well! I feel good, just any time now! This has been a great pregnancy. We're very excited to have our little Molly join our family. My mother in law and I have been on a baby clothes shopping spree (target was having a 75% off clearance, need i say more?). Plus Vickie is a professional garage saler so we have found TONS of cute things for little Molly.

Jon said in Taiwan that you need to the "peace" sign in all the pictures to let people know that you are having a good time.

These are Molly's letters for the nursery.

This is Lucy helping grandma Vickie do the dishes...she eventually made her way into the water herself.

Her first single ponytail with a bow! She looks like such a big girl!

So inspired by our friend Joe and Elizabeth's blog we are going to make a list of all the cute things that Lucy can do at this stage of her life.

Lucy is 16 1/2 months old

Lucy's Words

Mommy- "mmmmmmmmmmm!!!"

Daddy- "dadadadadadadadadada"

Grandma- "mama"

Hi-"hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" usually followed with a wave if she sees you.

Bye Bye- no words yet, just a wave and frequently a full on sprint to the garage door because she thinks she's going bye bye.

No- is usually just the head shake that can quickly turn into a NO!!! (which means, collapse her knees, fall to earth and sob)

All done- shaking her hands

More- "moooor" with the hand sign (this is especially cute)

Please-she can sign this, usually with a smile, because when she says please she almost always get what she wants

Thank you-she signs that too
Ball- "ba"
Book- "booo"

Yay-clap her hands with joy!

High Five-she's good at these

Animal noises are as follows:

Cow-mooooooooooooooooooo
Snake-ssssssssssssssssss

Dog-"roof"

sheep- baaa (it sounds like she is clearing her throat)

pig- grandma taught her to hold her nose and oink, but as of now she just holds her noise for the pig noise
Duck-"duc" and according to lucy ducks don't quack they just say what they are...

And daddy is trying to teach her how to do an elephant...she's not quite there yet.

She knows where her eyes, ears, teeth, nose, knees, head, toes, and the ever favorite belly button are located on her body. She can point to her boo-boo's but has no words for them except "ahhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

She loves to sing and dance. If there are people at our house gathered in the living room she will put on a little dance festival for everyone's pleasure. She leads the music at church and can do the motions to

The Itsy Bitsy Spider
The Wheels on the Bus
Roll Your Hands
Mama Fingers
Head Shoulders Knees and Toes
5 Little Ducks

and I think there are more but do you really need the extended list? This is mostly for our family book and to brag a little about how cute we think our baby is!
This is her singing Mama Fingers: (this was taken after the largest poop disaster of 2010. I went into her room to get her up from her nap, she had look liked she had rolled in the dirt, she had pooped all over her back, all over her front, down her knees, up her shirt, on her blankets, pillows, and bumper pad. Luckily grandma was home to offer me so back up)

Cute! Lucy is adorable. We are having a girl this time (unless of course the ultrasound chick is wrong) so we'll have to settle for roommates... at least with our second kids. :) You look good! Take luck in a couple weeks! Hope all goes well with your new little one. :)
