In all fairness to me I have thought about updating our blog SEVERAL times since the last post but sadly in the last few weeks our desktop computer has been suffering a slow and painful death and our laptop (that I am currently typing on) for some reason isn't reading our SD card. SO thus, no picutres...no posts. But luckily we got our external harddrive just in time to save all of our pictures onto that so even if we lose any other documents I won't be heart broken.
But anyway there will not be any picture posts for a little while but I suppose I could still update just by boring text.
Cute things that Lucy's been doing...
We sing "Roll Your Hands" the primary song and she does the motions and it's especially cute when she folds her arms and kinda swings back and forth with a cute little smile.
Usually when we say the word "prayer" she'll fold her arms.
She says "ba" for ball. Although still no consistant "mommy" or "daddy". She'll say it when she feels like it (daddy when she's happy and mommy when she's upset...where's the love?)
She opens the hymn book at church and starts humming to herself and pokes out her little pointer finger and leads the music...even when the music isn't playing.
She started moon walking at church yesterday. She just makes eye contact with someone, smiles and starts scooting backwards (usually until she bumps into something)
She and I play tea party. She knows how to pour and sip pretend tea and eat tea cakes.
She can sign "please" "more" "thank you" (although that's not always consistant either), she can say "woof" for dog and knows what it means to give hugs and kisses (as you can imagine she gives wet, open mouthed kisses...I didn't teach her to kiss that way!)
I can finally put her hair into pigtails which are completely ADORABLE...and like every little girl she hates to get her hair done, but with a quick distraction I can usually get them done in record time.
Cute things Jon has been doing:
Well "cute" isn't the right word more like exciting. He is talking to his advisor about his 4th year externship placement. Right now we are looking at 3 places in Seattle. We'll see what actually happens but it's fun to be looking. The first year of school went by fast the 2nd year of school was a blink. And now with our 2nd baby on the way I think that this next year will be even faster.
Baby Molly is due July 28th. We are pretty set on Molly for the first name but we are having trouble pegging down a middle name. If anyone has any good suggestions leave us a note!
Welp...that's it for now. As soon as we get our computer going I will post pictures.

I love the name Molly! Middle names that I think sound good with that are: Lynn, Louise, Marie, Grace, Erin (or really any name ending in that sound Carolyn, Evelyn, etc). Or family names are always good middle names, that is what we did for our kids. Can't wait to see her cute face!!
Molly! So cute! I had to go back to when Lucy was born to see what her middle name is, and I like the 2-syllable first name with a 1-syllable middle name. If I was to give my 2 cents (which I'm about to do), I'd say Molly Mae (or May) sounds pretty cute. I love Mae as a middle name, and since it's just as cute as Molly, it fits! It's crazy to think you only have a month left... other women's pregnancies seem to go by a lot faster than your own! Hang in there!
Thanks for the update!! I love the name Molly, but I can't think of any good girl names to tag onto it. I'm sure you guys will think of something spectacular.
Seattle would be fun for Jon's externship! I'm from Western WA, so it's very dear to me. The weather is very mild, so the summers don't get sizzling hot.
