We got to bryce just in time to see the sun set. And then we went to a camp site to settle in for the night. We had our pick of sites because there were probably only 5 others filled because it wasn't all that warm. As we were unloading the car I quickly realized that I had forgotten our tent. We had quite the dilema being that didn't want to freeze all night. And so we decided a hotel would be wonderful. The closest vacent hotelroom was 20 minutes away and was an old cabin but we were grateful that it had an opening. After we ate dinner, we decided to take one of our airmattress outside to look at the stars, although they were beautiful we most enjoyed the gassy horse/donkey 10 feet away from us. We had the outdoor experience just not the one we were expecting.
We got to the park before sunrise and saw the sun peak at sunrise point. After which we went to a picnic site. Made a campfire and made a great breakfast consisting of eggs, a whole package of bacon and cinnimin roles fried in the bacon greese. It was fantastic!
We went on a few hikes durning the day and Steph started on the path of conquering her fear of tunnels by going through wall street (picture above). Another great memory we will have for the rest of our lives.
